[UK] Where can i get these pipe materials?
Hi all, long story short: I have 3 23" monitors vesa compatable and want to make a triple monitor stand. i dont want to buy premade as they are too expensive. i have found these two posts:

where they use metal pipes to create the stand. My problem is, i cant find any of those materials here in the uk. i searched for threaded pipes/tubes, metal pipes/tubes, t connectors and flanges and they all come up as large plastic plumming parts. Where can i find those exact materials in those posts but here in the UK? could you please find direct links as i have spent countless hours on diy.com and other hardware sites and could not find any.

Look you live in a world where you can buy things that are anywhere on the planet. It all depends on how much effort you are willing to exert and time you have. That material is very common in the US. With Email you can find a US internet suppler that will ship to you. If you can't find that or it's to expensive, your next option is to substitute the pipe with what you can get. Can you get Angle Iron or aluminum? Maybe "U" channel. Bolt them together to get the same support. You'll have to do a bit of cutting with a hacksaw but that support can be duplicated. You don't have wood? monitors usually sit on a table or desk right? If your work area is against a wall build a shelf that they can sit on. Attached to the wall.
Think outside the box, be creative and improvise. You can do it. "There is always a way". Never forget that. SS
