what exactly is e3, does it have anything that i as a normal gamer would care about for this summer?
what will i learn from e3 that is important to me? (important for me for this summer). Will new games be shown which will be released this summer? Demos? What happens...and it has to be this summer!!!
E3 is games conference basically, its a chance for games companies to show the press and the media etc what they plan to release and show off anything awesome theyve been making.
There are usually demos and long press conferences where the media get to ask questions about big presentations the games companies put on. Videos of big releases tend to be in the presentations and they may show the game in action.
There are also demos which can be at almost any stage in development for media type people to have a play on so that they can go and write nice reviews and things about up and comming releases.
Theres usually a few suprises and then obvious things like new versions of consoles (this new PSP thing for example which has already apparently been leaked)
The purpose of it is for games companies to show off and tell the world how great they are and how the year will be there year etc etc XD
Magazines and websites will have all the info thats of interest to the public as soon as possible - meaning they get the whole "Worlds first review on.." etc ^^
Its not open for the public however unless maybe for some competition or something like that
