This will be the third year, we will be offering a Jazz Band.   We are excited about this new endeavor and anticipate it being a big hit. We look forward to building the Jazz band so that we can perform at several events, including the  Lakeside Jazz Festival, at school lunches, the Spectrum Concert,   as well as our end of the year  trip.

Jazz Band rehearsals will  take place on Mondays after school throughout the year. Membership in this group provides students with the opportunity to develop their musical skills in a different and challenging way.  They will be able to play with a smaller, more selective group, and even have a chance to perform solos. All students are encouraged to audition for the Jazz Band, including those not otherwise enrolled in band.
