Link splash page to homepage using flash?
I have this project i have to do, its to make a splash page linking to my homepage using flash pro 8...
it's suppose to play only once and then go to my homepage.
But I dont know how to do it.... like it keeps repeating the splash over and over.... can someone help me?
Hi there.
You can jump from one page to another using flash. You just need to add a few line of scripts to your flash movie.
Go to the last frame in your timeline (that is the frame where your animation is supposed to end.) Click on the frame and press F6 to add a key frame. Now open up the "actions" panel by pressing F9 and type these lines or copy and paste them onto the panel:
stop();
getURL("mypage.html");
replace mypage.html with the filename of your homepage, ex. index.html. Your splash movie should now stop at the very end then immediately load your homepage.
