Patricia Philippe - Artiste Réunionaise
Après l'album "CHOKé" de 2005 le deuxième semestre 2008 verra les chansons inédites du prochain album " PoétiK Maloya " présentées en exclusivité au public réunionnais. Ce spectacle " a récemment créé l'évènement lors des semaines de la Francophonie en Zambie et au Malawi (2007) sur invitation des amassades de France, et lors du récent festival des voix du monde (St Denis oct 07). Des musiciens de talent, des sonorités nouvelles, un répertoire coloré par des influences blues-rock, jazz et séga - maloya, un spectacle qui conjugue émotion et intelligence, créé par Patricia Philippe, auteur, compositeur et leader du groupe.
Patricia PHILIPPE est chanteuse, guitariste et instrumentiste (Kayamb, percussions) talentueuse (prix du Volcan d'or de l'Océan Indien 1990 et finaliste 2006 du concours de 9 semaine 1 jour de RFO). Elle fait ses débuts en tant que chanteuse choriste pour de nombreux artistes et groupes, le dernier est le groupe Ziskakan (1999-2005) qui va lui permettre de côtoyer les plus grandes scène. Les tournées mondiales se multiplient, les scènes prennent de l'ampleur (Casino de Paris) ainsi que son ambition. Elle démarre une carrière solo en 2005 et séduira immédiatement le public réunionnais.
Professionnelle jusqu'au bout des ongles, ses multiples expériences et rencontres, son talent d'auteur compositeur vont l'inciter à s'entourer d'un groupe de cinq musiciens, tous professionnels, avec qui elle sort son premier album intitulé " CHOKÉ "
Le public réunionnais va être séduit par cet album (numéro 2 des ventes à la Réunion début 2006) qui mélange le blues-rock, le jazz et le séga-maloya. Le métissage que l'on retrouve dans son répertoire assure un spectacle rempli d'originalité et d'émotions et lui apporte la reconnaissance unanime dans les milieux artistiques et médiatiques.
