what is the difference between jazz guitar and acoustic?
can you the play the same stuff on both guitars? or will the jazz guitar give acoustic songs a weird sound?
As the other answerers have pointed out, there is no such thing as a 'jazz guitar'. Most jazz guitarists play with electric guitars which are particularly suited for jazz playing e.g. the Gibson ES-175, which is a hollow-body electric with humbucker pickups. You could however play jazz with Fender Stratocasters if you so wish. Jazz music will sound equally well on both electric and acoustic guitars. However, attempting to rock in acoustic guitars may be a little strange!
